No Bones About It: Rocky Balboa

Author's Note: Seeing as how I spent most of the night and early morning on the phone with airlines, trying desperately to get rebooked for my flight home today, this post will most certainly not do justice to the wonder and amazement that was Rocky Balboa. Sorry.
The most anticipated moment of the year for me finally arrived yesterday, when I got to the theater an hour early to get in line for the perfect seats with Brother Bone. We snuck in food from Subway, and settled into our perfect seats, stupid grins on our faces.
I'm not kidding when I say that I smiled through the entire film. This movie was everything and so much more than I hoped for. I had goosebumps, I laughed, I cried, I glared at the kid next to me for kicking the railing the whole time...but I was not to be deterred. I loved loved LOVED this movie. I didn't even mind Rocky's varicose veins because his biceps were as big around as my head.
And I really did cry at the end.
I apologize for the lack of wit and clever dialogue in this post, but I wanted to get the word out as quickly as I could, while simultaneously packing my bags for Philadelphia. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get there in one piece. In the mean time - go see this movie, Andi Mae and Adam!!
Final Feliz Navidad Total: 36

Would you PLEASE go watch this movie for me in Philly and take pictures?? And while you're there, take a run up those steps. Did you sit til the credits were over?? We did, like stupid fans. Til the very end, where the reel runs out. I concur, it was GREAT (and I cried too, but don't tell Adam. He'll make fun.) Oh yeah, and the veins bothered me a little too, and then you realized how ripped he was, especially against the other guy, who, I though, was a little fluffy around the middle, for a boxer.

I love Rocky. And Bone Junior, too.

wow, I am astonished that you loved this movie andi! I really might have to go see it now, and I have to go with bone junior, because I know I will get more enjoyment out of it with her.

Bone Junior, I am dieing to know if you got through Denver finally? you have to call me and tell me the details. I have some more drama to tell you about my traveling too.
