Reward!

Yesterday, I got a package in the mail. The shipper's address was New Jersey, but that's about all I know, since there was nothing in the package except a mysterious gift. No card, no note, no nothing.

Don't get me wrong, I love getting packages, and I love them even more when they're filled with treasures, but I feel bad because I got a truly awesome gift and I have no idea who to thank.

So I'm posting this in the hopes that someone out there knows something that will bring this anonymous gift-giver to justice.

Your eyes do not deceive. It is a leg lamp night light, now proudly displayed in our classy kitchen.

In other news, something in the universe is seriously out of whack when Napoleon McBoom Boom has such an eventful night that he comes to work with hair like this, and I'm getting stood up by dates.

Before you ask, I snapped this picture from a distance of about a foot behind him. Maybe it was wrong of me to sneak up behind his unsuspecting coiff, but I just couldn't help myself.

Maybe the anonymous person is the Tasty painter. Think about it: The gift was mildly disturbing, completely random, and mysterious. I bet you'll receive a few more in the next few months before finally finding the gifter...

No dice with Bone Senior, or with any of my other friends on the East coast. Its a mystery, although, I won't complain if more mystery gifts continue to arrive. Maybe its like the twelve days of Christmas...

i've already denied any knowledge of said leg lamp, although i was quick to suggest The Original Bone (aka, Daddy Bone) as the culprit.

and if it wasn't him, that would actually be a brilliant christmas present for him...wrapped up tight with the christmas story DVD he asked for!

I think somebody should buy Napolean McBoom Boom a handheld mirror so that maybe he can have a peak at the back of his head before he leaves for work in the morning.

I can't believe that "Napolean" is still sporting that look around the office! Nothing has changed with him! He really should have married the girl in the one piece green jumpsuit that showed up with cookies on St. Patricks Day!

Ho Ho Ho, Bone Junior. I thought nothing would be more exciting than "electric sex" gleaming from your kitchen outlet. Happy Secret Santa-ing :) Love and MISS you!

You are a very funny girl...you remind me of me. Does McBoom know you post pictures of his "Something about Mary" hair-do?

Great Blog...

i'm sorry, i think the funniest part of this post is erin's mom comment :)

i think we should bring everyone up to speed on the fact that all 3 Bone children grew up asking for red rider bb guns the first 12 christmases of our lives. :) and that The Original Bone's favorite part of christmas is when TBS plays 24 hours' worth of The Christmas Story, just so when he gets up from in front of the tv to actually do something, he can come back 2 hours later and not have missed a beat.

this also plays a key role in explaining your movie obsession. well, part of it :)
